Michigan football target CB Ja'Den McBurrows sticks with Wolverines

Michigan footballlost two defensive recruits on Wednesday.
But the Wolverines ended the day by holding onto a third.
Cornerback Ja'Den McBurrows signed with Michigan over Miami (Florida) during the final hours of the opening day of the early signing period.

The Wolverines began Wednesday by losing two four-star defenders in linebacker Branden Jennings (Maryland) and defensive end Quintin Somerville (UCLA).
But Michigan managed to hold onto McBurrows, who is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and was considering the close-by Hurricanes.

McBurrows is ranked No. 549 overall and the No. 43 cornerback, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He is the only cornerback in Michigan's 2021 class. That, coupled with the position group's struggles this season, makes McBurrows a vital member of the class.
McBurrows became the 20th recruit to sign with the Wolverines on Wednesday. McBurrows' teammate from St. Thomas Aquinas, four-star linebacker Jaydon Hood, announced he would sign early with Michigan after previously saying he would wait until February to sign
