Ms. ALISHA BROWN (Stapleton Foundation): We have sidewalks. We have bike lanes in the community. It's very geared towards people being able to walk around the community. They can walk to the grocery store. They can ride their bikes on the trails. There are parks all throughout the community. And it encourages people to get out of their cars. ! Many people wonder how often they should change their transmission fluid. Automatic transmission fluid and filters should be changed every 15,000 to 30,000 miles (or every 2 years) as part of your basic car maintenance . It's important to change both the filter and the fluid at each interval. Don't wait until the transmission begins to slip.
When the law was enacted in 2005, it required that motorists move over one lane away from an emergency vehicle parked along the road when its lights were on. In 2008, lawmakers amended the law to include construction workers. ! The best thing to do to solve this problem of course is to take your car to a professional. Though you will be paying for the service and will be parted from your car for half a day or so, you’re assured that you’ll be getting your money’s worth and the hours that you could’ve spent doing the repair yourself could be spent idly at home with your friends and family.
