Several readers commented on the repetitive nature of a particular commercial from a local automobile dealership, featuring a salesman shouting the virtues of what look like the same two cars over and over again. Many said the salesman should brush up on his diction and at least pronounce the name of the dealership clearly. ! The measure has several other provisions that may draw protests from the auto industry. It would create a new tax of $9 per new vehicle after three years, payable by the manufacturer, to help fund NHTSA and some of the new requirements of the law.
